About "Stage" and exams
Stages (training camps) are an important part of our practice, giving us an opportunity to train together and review our progress with Sensei. They are usually held in Zürich or Romandie, and all schools of the Swiss Karate Rengo are invited to participate. Stages take place a few times a year, typically over one or two weekend days, and may include examinations of skills.
Don't forget:
- kimono (karate-gi)
- karate passport
- food/drink for the breaks
- exam form and/or a photo (can be a cheap printout)
- payment slip (pay directly to Sensei, in advance: H. Nakajima, Chemin de l'Avanchet 21, 1216 Cointrin, IBAN: CH08 0900 0000 1203 7962 1)
- if necessary, book a room to stay in well in advance
Competitions
Competitions are opt-in. They're also a great way to get more practice and to train with Sensei's students from other dojos.
